February
2023 - Let's Get Quizzical


 

On the 23rd Feb Let’s Get Quizzical event took place at Roka, London. The evening was such a success and has raised over £285,000 for our post-sexual abuse services, a 37% increase on what was raised at the same event last year.

The guests enjoyed an evening of wonderful food, entertainment, and quizzing, hosted by TV presenter and actor Joel Dommett. Young trustee Sheanna bravely told her story, captivating the room and receiving a standing ovation and auctioneer Tom Best hosted a lively and competitive live auction

 

March 2022 - Rebuilding Childhoods Dinner 

 

Board Member Will Pritchett hosted a private dinner, at the Ivy, Market Grill on 10th March 2022. He kindly hosted 24 guests from the technology and data industry, to introduce them to the work of the Board and namely the importance of the NSPCC's work within online safety. David Tait kindly attended to share his story on the night as well as Mike McGrath, Head of Partnerships at the NSPCC, who shared key information about the NSPCC. The night successfully raised £13,750 + gift aid for the NSPCC, and has kick started key conversations into pro-bono support regarding online safety.

October 2021 - Brasserie of Light, Dinner



An intimate dinner took place on 7th October, at the Brasserie of Light in aid of the NSPCC. It was hosted by Rebuilding Childhoods Board Chair, David Tait, and attended by guest from the networks of David, Board Members Melissa Mullen and Will Pritchett. NSPCC Head of Partnerships, Mike McGrath also spoke to the guests about the work of the NSPCC, and specifically about the impact of the pandemic as well as Childs House and Letting the Future in. David kindly shared details on his own personal journey is so closely tied to his support of the NSPCC. The event was a huge success, and to date has raised £16,800 + gift aid for the NSPCC, and engaged a new audience with the work of the Board.


July 2021 - Private Lunch with Masterpiece


Following a re-connection with Masterpiece with the support of former board member Tarek Khlat MBE, Masterpiece kindly gave the NSPCC exclusive access to one of their private dinning spaces which seats 24 people during their Art Fair as an opportunity for the Board to use the beautiful space to host an engagement event. On the day guests heard from Lucie Kitchener, Director of Masterpiece, who spoke about the Art Fair and her connection with the charity. Overall, the event raised £20,950 + gift aid and has engaged further individuals with the work of the Board and the NSPCC.
